Sambhar Recipe

Ingredients

1.  100 Gms pigeon peas (toovar dal)
2.  1 onion
3.  1/2 Cup mix of chopped drumsticks, brinjal and pumpkin
4.  1 tsp AEROPLANE CHILLI POWDER
5.  20 Gms pack of AEROPLANE SAMBHAR MASALA
6.  Salt to taste
7.  2 tsp tamarind juice
 For tadka:-
1.  91 whole red chilli
2.  1/4 tsp mustard seeds
3.  8 curry leaves
4.  Pinch of AEROPLANE HING
5.  1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds

Instructions

1.  Soak pigeon peas i.e. Toovar dal for half an hour.
2.  Boil it with onions, drumsticks, brinjal and pumpkin with water and Aeroplane chilly powder.
3.  Now add Aeroplane Sambhar Masala and bring to boil.
4.  Add salt and tamarind juice.
For tadka:
Heat oil, add fenugreek seeds, whole red chilly, mustard, curry leaves and Aeroplane Hing (asafoetida). Add the tadka to cooked dal. Cook for 5 mins and serve.
